Background
When I was five years old I rode bareback and without fear, a carefree time that I often think of. On my ninth birthday I got my first pony and when I grew too tall a second bigger pony. I met my great love when I was sixteen, a Dutch warmblood gelding, named Vince. We grew up together and enjoyed twenty-two beautiful years.

When he was getting old he developed several problems, insulin resistance and Cushing's disease. At one point he got so bad the vet had to put him to sleep. Vince died at the age of twenty-eight.

When Vince got ill, I started to read and learn everything about his conditions. The worst thing was that I had unwittingly contributed to his illness. You think you're doing the right thing by feeding pellets and silage, occasionally a mash with molasses... But now I know that most of the commercial feeds are really junkfood, with too many starches and fast sugars. And silage is not suitable for horses, it's cow feed, horses don't digest it properly. The silage ferments in the gut and creates all sorts of health problems. Then we nail shoes to our horses feet, which restrict blood flow and we stick a piece of iron in their mouth. Things I also used to do blindly because I didn't know any better and because I had no idea what damage it could cause.

It has become my misson to work with owners to improve their equine's welbeing. Craniosacral therapy gives me the opportunity to improve the horse's health and set a healing process in motion. The owner must do the rest, healthy diet and environment are crucial.

I study with Maureen Rogers, a pioneer in the field of Equine Craniosacral therapy.
I have completed ESC1, ECS2, ECS3, ECS4 and ECD (dissection)
